This year we were inspired us to examine the crazy hair stylings of the Whedonverse, so we've dubbed this March Madness "The Hairpocalypse". In this tournament so far, some of the best and worst Whedonverse hair has battled against each other. We're voting here for hair that's so memorably bombastic, it could start the apocalypse itself.
Recapping last round:
- Angelus's astounding 'stache from "Amends" took down Sunday's mini-Bjork knots with a vengeance
- Gile's burnout hair (which was drugged by Band Candy) took out Kendra's "Jenny from the Block" 'do
- Another one of Angel's bad wigs kicked Cordy's Bad Bangs' ass (they weren't that bad, looking back.)
- And tragedy struck! When the worst Whedonverse hair of all, Cordy's infamous blond crop somehow lost to Buffy's caveman chic from "Beer Bad". RIP Cordy's tragic Blond, you coulda been a contenda.
Here we are at the end of Round 1! This round will have 4 matches and will end Tuesday night at 11:59 PM EST. After that Round 2 will immediately begin.
